The Project
Delivering high spec facilities to support motorsport operations
Nationwide Engineering successfully delivered the first phase of works at Thruxton Circuit, completing the extension of the Thruxton Centre for the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC).
This phase included the construction of a steel framed extension with a full internal fit out, creating a high spec environment featuring acoustic panelling, glazed partitions, air conditioned offices, and carpeted finishes throughout. Externally, new tarmac surfacing was installed to provide a clean and practical finish to the surrounding areas.
Nationwide Engineering led the project from inception through to completion, maintaining clear communication and collaborative decision making to ensure the works were delivered on time and within budget.
Following the successful completion of this phase, Nationwide Engineering has been appointed to deliver the next stage of development at Thruxton. This will include the construction of five Romney style hangars, a 108 metre open fronted hangar along the airfield apron, and later in the programme, the replacement of the existing fire station and control tower.
“Nationwide led the whole project on our behalf and thanks to great communication and open discussions, they were able to present options as we went along and guide our decision making throughout. This made it a seamless process and enabled it to be delivered on time and on budget. We are thrilled with both the end result and the process we went through to get here.”
