Ealing Broadway

Crossrail – Elizabeth Line

Client

Graham Construction Group

Location

Ealing Broadway Station, London

Duration

8 months

The Project

We are delighted to have been awarded a multi-million-pound contract for a significant upgrade to Ealing Broadway Station as part of the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) project.

A prestigious multi-million-pound contract to undertake a significant upgrade to Ealing Broadway Station as part of the new Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) project.

Works included the construction of new lifts, canopy foundations and associated civil engineering works on the island platforms. This logistically challenging and technically complex project required working around the busy railway station in close proximity with London Underground and the public.

Construction techniques were developed to maximise normal daytime working while managing construction risks around the operational infrastructure.

Delivering a prestigious project

This is an exciting and technically challenging project that perfectly fits with our capability and experience. We have identified significant Value Engineering opportunities that lower risk and the whole team is looking forward to delivering this prestigious project – Alex McDermott, Managing Director
