The Project
Nationwide Engineering were successfully awarded a package of works, installing 44 platform end gates within the Wessex Region for Network Rail.
The works involved not only the installation of the platform end gates, but also fencing, anti-tress pass matting, asphalt works and yellow lining hatching on each end of the platform to prevent unauthorised access on the track and safe passage for the passengers
Possessions work was required to undertake the works alongside close coordination with Station Managers to ensure disruption was kept to the minimum.
Nationwide fully managed the possession works utilising their own Safety Critical Staff to deliver the works safely. All works were undertaken by our their own specialist teams.
